New Players Information
To submit an entry to any event, you need an ABF number and to be registered on My ABF.
International players may submit their entries by emailing the GCC Entries Coordinator, Jacqui Dudurovic at gccentries@qldbridge.com.au .
Steps to take:
i. ABF Number:
To obtain an ABF number, please email masterpoints@abf.com.au with your name, gender, date of birth and for NZ players - NZB.
If you already have an ABF number but can't remember it, you may search for it by clicking on the following link to the ABF Masterpoint Centre .
ii. My ABF:
To register on My ABF, please follow the instructions below.
It only takes a couple of minutes.
- Register at this website: https://www.myabf.com.au/view
- Click on ‘SIGN UP’, which will take you to this page https://www.myabf.com.au/accounts/register .
- Enter your ABF number, Name, Email address and a password that’s easy to remember. This is to avoid having to reset the password.
- Once you have entered the information, you will be sent an email to activate your account. Check spam for the activation email if it isn't in your Inbox.
- Follow the prompts in the Activation email. Once you have activated your account, update your profile and settings.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Location - Gold Coast Convention Centre
Transport
The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) is located at Broadbeach at Australia's glorious Gold Coast in QLD.
The Gold Coast is a major tourist destination known for its sunny sub tropical climate and its 70km of long white sandy beaches. A surfer's paradise!
Close to the venue is a diverse offering of accommodation catering for all tastes and a great variety of shopping, restaurants, nightlife and entertainment.
Transport options to the Venue
Transport to Broadbeach from Brisbane Airport:
Train and tram is the cheapest way to get to Broadbeach - approximately $45 per person - Airtrain.com.au
Door to Door shuttle service - approximately $55 per person - Con-X-ion
Transport to Broadbeach from Gold Coast Airport:
Taxi is approximately $80

Con-X-ion Shuttle service and Link Transfers offer Door to Door service
Gold Coast Light Rail (GCLR) Road Works
GCLR is the largest transport project undertaken on the Gold Coast.
During construction there may be road works creating delays. Click on Traffic Changes and Works Notifications for the latest updates.
Catering
Refreshments:
There are numerous cafes a short walk from the GCCEC.
At the venue there is the following;
1. The GCC Bridge Coffee Shop sells coffee, bottles of water and biscuits.
Coffee vouchers can only be purchased at the GCC Bridge Coffee Shop.
2. The Kombi Van will be open during the GCC offering café style take away food
and drinks, including barista made coffee.
Note: the Kombi Van does not accept Coffee Vouchers from the GCC Bridge Coffee Shop.
Additional Information
1. Air Conditioning: The air conditioning can make it cold in some areas of the venue.
For your comfort, we recommend you bring warm clothing.
2. Toilets: The two sets of toilet amenities outside the playing area are for use by GCC participants
NOT any other toilet amenities in the GCCEC.
3. Water: The GCCEC no longer have vending machines.
Please remember to bring your own water bottle or beverage.
The GCC Bridge Coffee Shop sells bottles of water.
