GENERAL INFORMATION
Open Trials Final - Butler Round Robin Pairs. Top three pairs qualify for the 2025 SA Open Team and must play in the Interstate Teams at the 2025 Australian National Championships. Entries limited to the top 14 pairs based on 2024 PQPs. Players must have earned at least 1 PQP in 2024 to qualify. The top 3 pairs in the 2024 Open Trials Qualifying receive automatic acceptance into the 2025 Open Trials Final if they play in their partnership. NOTE: This event will be played over six Thursdays as well as one match on Monday 3rd March 2025. Entries for the Final close on Thursday 23 January 2025.
Open Trials Plate - Butler Swiss Pairs to be held alongside the Open Trials Final. Pairs who enter the Open Trials Final but do not qualify in the top 14 will be automatically entered into the Open Trials Plate and will be refunded any overpayment of bridge credits.
NOTE: For both events, there will be NO PLAY on Thursday 6th February 2025 (Gold Coast Congress).
