GENERAL INFORMATION
What is Education Seminar?
The SBC Education Seminars are graded training sessions. We invite different teachers to run the Education Seminar on various topics. They are focused lessons that are designed to suit players of specific levels, please read the labels and find one suitable for you.
About this Education Seminar
The Power of Long Suits by Steve Geddes (suitable for developing players / refresher)
Steve will introduce the topic then work through eight hands. At the end of the session, Steve will summarise the lesson, reinforcing the key takeaways.
One of the biggest sources of tricks you will utilise over the years as a bridge player are your long suits. This series of workshops is aimed at current or recently graduated Supervised players or players who find themselves constantly making one or two tricks less than the field! The hands are specially created to focus Declarer's attention on this important aspect of card play.
