GENERAL INFORMATION

Location - REDCLIFFE BRIDGE CLUB
Transport
The Clubroom is located at 2a Irene Street, Redcliffe, (next to the Redcliffe RSL Club). Car parking is available at both ends of the clubhouse; wheelchair access is available from the western car park.
Catering
Light refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits will be provide on the day for morning and afternoon tea.
Sandwiches will be provided for lunch
A Gluten Free option of a vegetable wrap will be availiable - please provide your name if you would perfer this option
Wine, beer and soft drinks and hot food will be served at the end of the day
Additional Information
Wheelchair access is available from the western car park.

CHAMPIONSHIP PAIRS

Information for players:
Members
must nominate for this event so that all players can be SEEDED. Only members of the Redcliffe Bridge Club are
eligible to play in this championship event and the Management Committee may
award prize money.
Depending on the number of nominations and
the number of tables in play, the Director will decide which movement will be
played. The Tournament Organiser will arrange a non-playing Director for the
event.
This event will be conducted under the
Laws of Duplicate Bridge (2017), the QBA Regulations and the Redcliffe Bridge
Club Bylaws.

All entrants must be members of the Redcliffe
Bridge Club to be eligible to play in this championship competition.

This event will be conducted on the one day over two sessions
·
Prize money, if applicable, will be awarded as previously agreed by the
Management Committee
· Nominations are to be made on MyABF and the field will be seeded.
·
Masterpoints will be awarded for both sessions and for the overall result of the
competition
·
Only Blue and Green System
classifications will be permitted
·
Each player must have an
approved current ABF system card (identical to partner’s card) on the
table. It is the player’s responsibility
to ensure the correctness of their system classification. The use of an illegal system may be penalised.

Nominations close at 12pm on Wednesday 02 September
·
Players who nominate after the closing date may be included at the
discretion of the Director
·
The Director for this event will be Jo Neary.
