All three days start at 10am. The Congress will run at our home club rooms at 2a Pattison St Moonee Ponds.
Come in good time and enjoy a real coffee with Roger - our favorite barista - at the door.
Lunch is included all days. Bar opens at conclusion of play, along with complimentary hot snacks - stay for a chat and the placings.
CONGRESS PROGRAM:
Friday 2nd June - Novices (<100MP) and Super Novices (<15MP) ONLY: It will be a shorter format day (approx 3.30pm finish). You will play in one field, and it will be Matchpoint - so scoring is percentages like regular bridge sessions. There will be prizes in Super Novice and Novice categories.
Saturday 3rd June: Swiss Pairs:
- Open field plays in our main club rooms (N of the bowling greens).
- Restricted field (<300MP) plays in football club rooms, just 50m across the car park.
Sunday 4th June Teams: all players come to the main club rooms (N of the bowling greens).
Finally, come to our special single session State Congress Red point event - on Wed 7th June 7.15pm at MVBC - an ideal warm-up for the Victor Champion Cup starting the next day. Register NOW for this new event also via myABF . This year the VCC is being held just around the corner from us - at the Moonee Valley Racecourse.

Super Congress - entries open Monday 17th April 2023 - log in to your account at MyABF.
Note that there will be early bird discounts.

Transport
Most people will drive here, parking available on-site, and nearby streets.
Public transport: Tram Route 59 (Airport West) - alight at Ormond Rd and walk 900m east down Ormond Rd, and turn left into Pattison St - the bridge club rooms are with the Bowling Club on the right of Pattison St
Catering
Hot drinks and snacks available before play commences.
Lunch is provided on all days - sandwiches, fresh fruit and cakes. Please advise special diet to Congress Organiser.
The bar opens at conclusion of play with complimentary hot savouries. Stay on for a drink and reflect on your day, success or otherwise!
Additional Information
All events are at the Moonee Valley Bridge Club rooms- 2a Pattison St Moonee Ponds 3039.
The club is not well-serviced by public transport, but there is generous parking on site and in adjacent streets.
