GENERAL INFORMATION

The Peninsula Bridge Club at Warriewood, Sydney is hosting the NSW State Novice (<100 MPs) and Restricted (<300 MPs) Pairs Championship for 2026.

It will be run as a Pairs event (matchpoints) in two sections.

Novice players must have <100 Masterpoints as at 1 July 2026.

Restricted players must have <300 Masterpoints as at 1 July 2026.

RESTRICTED PAIRS - Under 300 MPs 

● 2 sessions - 6 matches. 

● 1st Prize $200. 2nd prize $100. Best Local $60 

NOVICE PAIRS - Under 100 MPs 

● 2 sessions - 6 matches. 

● 1st Prize $200. 2nd prize $100. Best Local $60 

We reserve the right to reduce the prizes if player numbers are low.

Entry to the venue is from 9.30am, play starts at 10.00am.

The Event qualifies for for the issue of Red masterpoints at State level B 

It will be conducted under the auspices of Bridge NSW and all players are subject to all Bridge NSW Congress and Tournament Regulations.  Green and Red systems only. 

Each pair must display a system card.

Location - Warriewood Community Centre , 4 Jacksons Rd, Warriewood

Transport

Unlimited parking is available nearby including Boondah Rd from 200m further north and in Warriewood Square .

The B1 B-line and 199 bus stop is 2 minutes walk away.

Limited parking is available at the venue (including some Special Needs) but it is limited to 5 hours duration.  The entrance is in Boondah Rd.

THERE MAY BE SPORTS HAPPENING NEARBY SO PARKING MAY BE VERY BUSY.

We recommend parking in Warriewood Square and suggest you take the ramp to L2 entering by the roundabout nearest to Pittwater Rd.

Please arrive in good time.

Catering

Lunch and tea/coffee/snacks will be provided along with a glass of wine, beer or soft drink at the end of the session.

Gluten Free and vegetarian options will be available if requested.

Additional Information

The venue is the Warriewood Community Centre , 4 Jacksons Rd, Warriewood.

The entrance is opposite Jacksns Rd. Once inside, head left to the West Hall.
