GENERAL INFORMATION
ENTRIES OPEN DATE 1st October 2026 CLOSING DATE 1st April 2027
Early Bird discounts $10 per player available until 31 January, 2027.
ENTRIES - IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Both Pairs and Teams events are stand alone. There is no preferential entry for players entering both.
Entries are limited, and FULL PAYMENT confirms an entry. "IN CART" and “PENDING” are not considered full payment.
Once the event is fully subscribed (or no later than 1st March) entries that are IN CART or PENDING will be asked to make their payment asap. If not fully paid within two weeks of being contacted, the Organising Committee reserves the right to move that pair or team to the end of the waitlist, and the entry offered to the first pair or team on the relevant wait list.
CATEGORIES:
Within each event, depending on entries, there will be separate sections for Open, Intermediate, Restricted and Novice players.
Categories: (all as at 1 January 2027)
- Intermediate - fewer than 750 masterpoints;
- Restricted - fewer than 300 masterpoints and
- Novice - fewer than 100 masterpoints.

Players and officials are asked not to attend any event if they are infectious, or if they are meant to be isolating or quarantining. Those who come to play and, feeling unwell, self-diagnose that they may be infectious, should inform the director and leave the venue.

Open, Intermediate and Restricted sections will play at the Orange Ex-Service Club.

Catering
Food and/or beverages cannot be brought into OESC premises.
A buffet lunch (or equivalent) and all-day tea and coffee is included in players’ registration fees at both sites.
