GENERAL INFORMATION

The two days of the festival promotes bridge in Country WA. 

All Country WA bridge players regardless of experience are encouraged to enter and enjoy the camaraderie of an exclusively country event. As well as competing in the pairs and the teams, Restricted and Novice players will be eligible for additional prizes if there are sufficient enrolments for these categories. 

A RED POINT pairs competition will be held on Saturday 29 August. The winners will be offered direct entry to the BAWA Interstate Open Team Selection Final.

GOLD POINT teams competition will be held on Sunday 30 August.  The winning teams will qualify to participate in the GNOT Online National Qualifying Final to be held 18-20 Sep.  Pairs will need to indicate whether they will be contending on the day. 

All members of the following 12 clubs who are WA residents with permanent residence outside of the WA Metropolitan Area are eligible: Albany, Avon Valley, Bridgetown, Bunbury, Busselton, Denmark, Esperance, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Kendenup, Kojonup, Mandurah. The Metropolitan Area is defined as the area bounded by Rockingham to the south, Mundaring to the East, and Yanchep to the North, or as determined from time to time by Council. By entering the event entrants are affirming their eligibility to play as a Country player.

Transport

The venue has ample parking and is a five minutes drive from town.

Catering

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Please bring your own lunch.

If each pair could bring a small plate of food to share for morning and afternoon teas it would be greatly appreciated.
