GENERAL INFORMATION
The format of this years' event is expected to be a regular swiss movement with 9 rounds of 8 or 9 boards. The exact format will be determined based on the number of entries. The use of a swiss movement means that after the first round teams will play those who are performing similarly. This means less experienced players will tend to play other less experienced players.
Members and non-members may enter, only Moonee Valley members can win the title.

Substitutes / Withdrawals - your responsibilities:
Entries are accepted on the understanding that players will continue in an event, except in unforeseen circumstances. If for any reason you are unable to attend the event and it is past the closing date (5/11/26), then it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to arrange a substitute and advise the Director. If this is not possible please advise the Director as soon as practicable as withdrawals after the closing date must be authorised by the Director. Director phone # and email are provided above.
If registrations for this event have closed and you want to play or be a standby player, please email the Congress Organiser to go on a waiting list. Other tables may be added if numbers are sufficient.
