All About Shape – Bridge Seminar with William

Waverley Bridge Club is pleased to host a special seminar with William Jenner-O'Chea, one of Australia’s most respected bridge teachers. With over 20 years of teaching experience, William has taught thousands of players at many of the largest bridge clubs across the country. His light-hearted teaching style keeps students engaged and entertained while they learn, and he uses modern technology to help reinforce concepts even after the lesson is over. Opportunities to see William present in Melbourne are rare, making this a seminar not to miss.

The session topic is “All About Shape.” Understanding the shape of your hand is essential in bridge, as clearly describing your distribution helps partner judge the partnership’s combined strength. Strong players know how to maximise the value of shapely hands, stay cautious when hands misfit, and evaluate their hands based on shape as well as points.
