GENERAL INFORMATION
Get ready for an exciting day of fun and friendly bridge competition at our upcoming Rookie Pairs Championship conducted by SA Bridge Association in partnership with SA Bridge Federation!
ALL players with less than 50 masterpoints (as on 1 June 2026) are welcome.
Those who are currently playing in supervised sessions but who can play independently (without supervision) are welcome to participate.
This full-day event will feature Matchpoint Pairs, offering a fantastic opportunity for players to test their skills and earn masterpoints.
Event Format: The congress will be divided into two sessions: a morning session, followed by a break for lunch, and then the second session in the afternoon. This format ensures a comprehensive and engaging day of bridge.
Masterpoints and Eligibility: Participants will be playing for Red Masterpoints. To encourage participation among developing players, this event is open to all players with under 50 masterpoints. Depending on the number of entries, we anticipate having a separate field specifically for players with under 15 masterpoints, providing a tailored competitive environment.
Lunch and Cost: A sandwich style lunch will be provided for all participants. The cost to participate in this full-day event is $40 per player, which includes the light lunch.
Prizes: Excitingly, there will be cash prizes awarded to the top performers!

Transport
Limited car parking spaces available at the back of the club, with ample off street parking.
Catering
Light sandwich style lunch will be provided (included in the entry fee). We can cater for Vegetarian / GF options - kindly email generalmanager@sabridge.com.au with your requirements.
Additional Information
There are 4 disabled parking spaces available at the back of the club and 2 disabled parking slots in the front. Disabled stickers must be prominently displayed in the car.
There is plenty of off street parking nearby, and on Sundays, the signposted time limts do not apply.
