Clubs can only run bridge sessions if they have a Director.

Just as continuing to thrive as a club requires new members and therefore lessons, clubs need to have a succession plan for directing. Good club directors deserve the chance to retire.

Finding and training new directors is the focus of this workshop.

Club Directors don't need to have completed exams to run green masterpoint sessions, but they have to be able to choose a movement, make simple rulings and score the session. This requires a little more than just being an experienced player.

A panel of speakers is being assembled from clubs that have been recently successful in their efforts, as well as some new club directors to get their perspectives. 

Participants will also be able to ask members of the Directing Committee about any related issues to do with club directing.
