SA Bridge Association

The SA Bridge Association will hold a Butler Pairs Championship in March.

The tournament will be held on four Monday nights in March on 9, 16, 23 and 30th.

The Red Masterpoint event is open to all players from all clubs and will begin at 7.15 PM at 243 Young Street, Unley SA 5061.

Cash prizes worth $1750 sponsored by Andrew Eddie.

This event is open to players at all levels.

Three categories will be played as one field

1. Open
2. Restricted (each player has less than 500mps).
3. Novice/Expert (one player with less than 100mps, the other unlimited).

Swiss draw with either 3 × 9 or 2 × 14 board matches each evening but will depend on the number of entries.

Players need to play all 4 weeks (or arrange for an approved substitute).

Prize money will total $1750 split as follows:

• 1st $500
• 2nd $350
• 3rd $250
• 4th $200
• 5th $150
• $150 for the best Restricted Pair
• $150 for the best Novice/Expert pair

Our club is located a short distance, approx 200m from the first Tram Stop (opp OTR station on King William St on the south side of Greenhill road towards Glenelg).

If driving, we recommend using Google or Apple maps.

There are approx 20 car parking spaces located at the back of the club, and plenty of off street parking (no time restrictions after 6pm).

Free coffee & tea is available at the club. We have a licenced bar with wine and beer, which will be open after the session. We have a vending machine for soft drinks and snacks. You can bring your own food and consume it in the bar lounge (not at the tables).
