Entry Fees paid to ANC Open or Mixed Butler!

Wednesdays at the VBC 6, 13, 20, 27 May

Fred Altman is remembered for being a member of Australia’s most successful team at the World Bridge Open Team Championships in partnership with Dr Ian McCance. He was also a stalwart member of the Victorian bridge community who represented Victoria with distinction at the national championships. This event consists of a series of matches in which at the start of each round, pairs are drawn to play other pairs who are doing about as well as them.   You can “swiss” it – i.e. rise through the field after an easier than usual series of draws.  (Of course, the opposite can occur as well.)

The winners (or if they are unavailable, then the highest placed pair amongst the top three who are interested) get their entry fees paid to all stages of the ANC Butler (open or mixed)

The entry fee is $20 per night (ie $80) as this is a State representation event
