The SBC Xmas in Winter Congress

Teams on Sunday 2nd August 2026, 10.00am start

RED masterpoints
Play in one day or both days!
There will be two separate one-day events - Pairs on Saturday 1st August and Teams on 2nd August 2026. Playing Pairs requires different strategies to playing in Teams. You can choose to play in just one day or play in both!
Playing in a two day congress is a great way to build your match fitness. It sounds like a good idea to play cards cozy indoors in Winter. Christmas / Winter themed refreshments throughout the play, and a delicious lunch will be provided in both days.
Programmes
Event commences at 10.00am sharp on both days for two sessions. Entry in advance on ABF required.
We plan to have a separate field for Novice and Restricted players. Prize money will depend on the number of entries.

Conduct under the auspices of the BNSW. The ABF has approved the issue of RED masterpoints at B4 level.
Location - Sydney Bridge Centre
Transport
Parking is available at Secure Parking, corner of Elizabeth Street and Goulburn Street. Weekend Specials at $16. If you travel and park in before weekend, validation ticket is available to purchase at cost price $17 from Sydney Bridge Club.
There are free street parking close to Commonwealth Street on weekend, please read signs.
Catering
Complimentary tea, instant coffee, spring themed refreshment throughout the play.
Lunch will be provided. Please indicate your dietary restriction when entered.
