GENERAL INFORMATION

This event combines the Pennant Hills Swiss Teams and the Metro State Open Teams Face to Face final. Teams submitted by clubs through Club Qualifying will be entered by the SOT Organiser. Teams that enter directly may nominate whether they are contending or non-contending for the State Open Teams (there is a small price difference).

Two teams will qualify for the State Final, the best placed team from a club qualifying event and the best placed team overall. If both the first two places are occupied by teams from club qualifiers they will both proceed to the State Final.

The event has been set up with two categories but only allows for one fee ($50 per player). Teams that elect to be non-contending will be refunded $5 per player by the organiser..

Location - Thornleigh Community Centre, Cnr Phyllis and Central Avenues, Tornleigh

Transport

The venue is a short walk from Thornleigh railway station.

Situated near Pennant Hills Rd the venue is easy to access by car.

Catering

Tea and coffee will be provided but players need to provide their own lunch. If it takes your fancy there is a McDonalds nearby.
