North Shore Bridge Club is proud to host the State Swiss Pairs Championship event for 2025. This event is open to all active members of the ABF.
Event Format:
This is a three-week Swiss Pairs event with IMP/VP scoring and red masterpoints at grade B5. The format will is intended to be 9 x 9 board matches however this may vary depending on the number of entries.
Close of Entries:
Entries will close on Monday 8th September 2025 at 5:00pm. Late entries will be up to the discretion of the tournament organiser.
Prize Pool:
Generous Prizes will be presented to the winners in the form of MyABF Credits (or NSBC PP if preferred). Prize amounts will be determined by the close of entries.
General Conditions:
Players should be seated 10 minutes before start of play.
Players should be friendly or at a minimum be courteous and respectful at all times.
At a minimum players should put a short description of their system in the chat at the start of each round.
All players should be respectful of the amount of time to play each board and how much of it they use (within reason).
Cameras and Microphones are required to be working and on during the sessions.
Players may switch off cameras and microphones while playing as dummy.
Players should mute the microphone when not speaking if their environment contains background noises.
Players should be well lit (not hidden in shadows).
