Two events

Open and Novice (<100mp) grades played in separate fields.

Entries

Prior entry is strongly encouraged to help with seeding and to plan the movement, but walk-in pairs will also be permitted to each session.

No Partner Service

You must come with a partner. If you do not have a partner and are keen to play, please speak to a regular Monday Director or add your name to the list on the noticeboard in the clubrooms.

Format

Each grade will be a three-session matchpoint pairs event.

In each grade there will be one week of qualifying and in the next two weeks there will be a “final” and a “plate” section (separate grades if there are sufficient entries).

Materpoints

Red masterpoints at the appropriate B4c level for each session and for all finalists and top half of plate winners.

Entry Fee

$6 per player per session (normal table fees). Enter via MyBF (set the payment type to Club Payment System). Table fees will be collected as MyABF Credits on each day.

Catering

Tea, coffee and biscuits each week, and complimentary nibbles and drinks at close of play of third session.

Titles

Entry into these events is unrestricted and all participants will be entitled to any masterpoints won. Titles shall be awarded only to players who are financial members of the Toowoomba Bridge Club.

Systems

Green and Blue systems. No Brown Stickers treatments. Each player must have an approved current ABF system card.

Entries by 5:00pm Saturday 1st March 2025 please to assist with seating and movement, but walk-in pairs will still be welcome on the day.
