This is an NSBC Club championship event. Visitors are welcome to participate.
Event Format:
This is a five-week event with IMP/VP scoring and red masterpoints at B5 State Level. The format is a three week qualifier of 9 x 9 board matches followed by a two week final and consolation Swiss consisting of 4 x 14 board matches. As we have only 10 tables players in the Swiss in the final two weeks teams will likely encounter a team for a second time.
Prize Pool:
Top two teams in the final will receive sponsored entry into the State Championship: Open Teams Metropolitan Final (Face-to-Face) (Pennant Hills on Sunday 12th October). If either or both teams in the final are unable to attend the State Final the next placed team in the Swiss will be offered the entry.
General Conditions:
Players should be seated 10 minutes before start of play.
Players should be friendly or at a minimum be courteous and respectful at all times.
At a minimum players should put a short description of their system in the chat at the start of each round.
All players should be respectful of the amount of time to play each board and how much of it they use (within reason).
Cameras and Microphones are required to be working and on during the sessions.
Players may switch off cameras and microphones while playing as dummy.
Players should mute the microphone when not speaking if their environment contains background noises.
Players should be well lit (not hidden in shadows).
