This is an NSBC Club championship event. Visitors are welcome to participate.
Event Format:
This is a three-week event with BAM/VP scoring and red masterpoints at B4c Level. This event is run as an open section and format will depend on the number of entries at closing. As a guide in 2024 this event ran as a 9 match round robin over 3 weeks.
Member Discounts:
North Shore Bridge Club members receive a $5 per session discount on all regular face-to-face sessions, online sessions and championship events (excluding congresses). To receive the discount members must select to pay via the Club PP System option when entering.
Close of Entries:
Entries will close on Wednesday 19th February 2025 at 5:00pm. Late entries will be up to the discretion of the tournament organiser.
Prize Pool:
Prizes are calculated from a prize pool based on entries. Guaranteed prize for 1st and 2nd with additional prizes depending on entries.
General Conditions:
Players should be seated 10 minutes before start of play.
Players should be friendly or at a minimum be courteous and respectful at all times.
At a minimum players should put a short description of their system in the chat at the start of each round.
All players should be respectful of the amount of time to play each board and how much of it they use (within reason).
Cameras and Microphones are required to be working and on during the sessions.
Players may switch off cameras and microphones while playing as dummy.
Players should mute the microphone when not speaking if their environment contains background noises.
Players should be well lit (not hidden in shadows).
The rate listed is for visitors. NSBC members please check the pay by Club PP System so we can adjust for member discounts.
Teams > 4:
Teams with five or six members please add a note to the entry indicating how many sessions each player will be playing and it will be charged accordingly. If you wish to pay for the entire team I can arrange that also.
