GENERAL INFORMATION
Red Point Event interclub event only to Williamstown and Moonee Valley Bridge Club Members.
This event is named after Irene English who was a member of both the Moonee Valley and Williamstown Bridge Clubs. She was very competitive at bridge and played well into her 90s. Sadly, she passed away 2 or 3 years ago at the age of 99.
Irene also taught bridge at U3A Williamstown for many years. When Tim Orr formed the Williamstown Bridge Club, Irene encouraged her U3A players to join the new club. Many she taught still play at WBC today.

Catering
Players will need to bring their own lunch.
Tea and coffee will be provided as well as some snacks after the event.
The bar will be open at the close of play.

Payment: Only through myABF using Bridge Credits. MyABF Payment required by entry close date (23/03/2025). Automatic refunds for any cancellations will be provided prior to the close off date in the form of Bridge Credits.
Substitutes / Withdrawals - your responsibilities:
Entries are accepted on the understanding that players will continue in an event, except in unforeseen circumstances. If for any reason you are unable to attend the event and it is past the closing date, then it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to arrange a substitute and advise the Director. If this is not possible please advise the Director as soon as practicable as withdrawals after the closing date must be authorised by the Director. Director phone # and email are provided above.
