You need to be registered with MyABF to submit an entry to any event.

To sign up MyABF website, please follow these instructions. It only takes a couple of minutes:

1. Sign up at this site https://www.myabf.com.au/view

2. Click on ‘SIGN UP’, which will take you to this link https://www.myabf.com.au/accounts/register where you will need to enter ABF number, Name, Email address and a password that’s easy to remember to avoid having to reset password.

3. Once you have done this, you will be sent an email to activate your account. Check spam for the activation email if you haven't received it.

4. When you have activated your account, it will take you to a site with your profile where you can add further details as you wish.

Welcome to the Territory Gold Bridge Festival for 2025!

"Bridge is back in the Red Centre"

The Northern Territory Bridge Association together with the ABF look forward to welcoming you in Alice Springs August 27-31 2025. This will be a "Swan Song"for Eileen and Matthew and so we love to see many Bridge players to help us celebrate!

The Welcome Function will be held at the Convention Centre in the courtyard 5.30-7pm. This is an opportunity to meet new friends and renew old ones! This year there is a small charge because unfortunately costs continue to rise! Lunch is included each day in the entry fee.

Sessions: Matchpoint Pairs - August 27th 9.30am and 2.15 pm and August 28th 9.30am

Swiss Teams - August 28th 2.15pm August 29th 9.30am and 2.15pm

Swiss Pairs (with PQP’s) - August 30th and 31st at 9.30am & 2.15 pm

ALL WITH GOLD MASTERPOINTS and CASH PRIZES

Pay by Monday 7 August 2025 to receive a discount of $20 per pair or $40 per team, where the entry fee for an event is made in one payment. These rates are reflected in the entry fee shown. The entry fees will increase accordingly on Tuesday 8 August 2025.

Location - Alice Springs Convention Centre Barrrett Drive (next to Lasseters Casino)

Transport

If arriving by plane in Alice Springs, taxis and bus transfers are available into the CBD; and the trip will take no more than 15-20 minutes.

Parking is not a problem at the venue. Plenty of free parking.

Catering

ALL Lunches are included each day in your registration fee.

The Welcome Function with canapes and drinks $20pp is a great way to start your bridge holiday by meeting up woth old friends and making new ones.

The Presentation Dinner $60pp. Includes Buffet dinner and wine.

Water will be provided to players in the room (subject to CHO Directions). Tea and coffee will also be available for players (with an honour payment system).

Crowne Plaza Lasseters Hotel Casino and Convention Centre is an excellent venue, with exclusive event accommodation packages: Standard Room : $265 per night. Mention the Bridge Festival when booking because rooms are limited and the block booking expires 45 Days prior to Tuesday 26th. IMPORTANT POINTS:

1. Entries will open on 1 January 2025

2. 1 Credit = $1

3. The NTBA reserves the right to cancel the Territory Gold Bridge Festival and accepts no responsibility for any expenses incurred by players in the event of such a cancellation. The NTBA recommends that players take out appropriate insurance.

In the event of cancellation due to the pandemic or border closures, the NTBA will refund in full all entry monies paid.

4. Supplementary regulations now available.

5. Covid-19 Policy for ABF Licensed events from 1^st June 2022

The ABF notes that all state and territory governments no longer require proof of double vaccination and wearing of masks when entering venues and business. As a consequence, these will no longer be mandated for ABF Licensed events. Tournament Organisers will make their own decisions regarding whether or not to relax the earlier policies and players are advised to check the website for each event prior to entry.

Players and officials are asked not to attend any event if they are not well, or if they are supposed to be isolating or quarantining. If you come to play but are not well, you will be asked to leave the venue. If you start feeling unwell with Covid-19 symptoms during any event, please ask the Director to find a substitute until you are feeling well and have a negative RAT test.

Tournament Organisers reserve the right to make decisions as to the running and conduct of an ABF License event and vary these regulations the health and welfare of the competitors and officials is compromised.
