GENERAL INFORMATION

Welcome:This is an NSBC Online Congress event run under the auspices of Bridge NSW. Visitors are most welcome to enter.
Platform:This event will be held on RealBridge.
Event Format:This is an all day Swiss Teams event with IMP/VP scoring and red masterpoints at grade B4. The format is expected to be 6 x 9 board rounds.
Close of Entries:Entries will close on Saturday 25th January 2025 at 5:00pm. Late entries will be up to the discretion of the organiser.
Prize Pool:Prizes will be determined based on the number of entries at the time of closing. There will be 1st and 2nd for the Open, and 1st prize for each of the Intermediate, Restricted and Novice.
General Conditions:
  1. All players are subject to BridgeNSW Disciplinary Regulations.
  2. Intermediate: <750 MP as of 1st January 2025
  3. Restricted: <300 MP as of 1st January 2025
  4. Novice: <100 MP as of 1st January 2025
  5. Players should be seated 10 minutes before start of play.
  6. Players should be friendly or at a minimum be courteous and respectful at all times.
  7. At a minimum players should put a short description of their system in the chat at the start of each round.
  8. All players should be respectful of the amount of time to play each board and how much of it they use (within reason).
  9. Cameras and Microphones are required to be working and on during the sessions.
  10. Players may switch off cameras and microphones while playing as dummy.
  11. Players should mute the microphone when not speaking if their environment contains background noises.
  12. Players should be well lit (not hidden in shadows).
  13. No Yellow Systems are permitted.
