GENERAL INFORMATION


QBA approved Red Masterpoints Congress, conducted under QBA regulations.

Players must have under 50 masterpoints or fewer than 100 masterpoints as at 30/06/24

Players with less than 50 masterpoints may elect to play in the under 100 masterpoints grade.

Swiss Pairs scoring method is by matchpoints.

Red masterpoints awarded for each match won or drawn, plus outright points awarded to the top one third of the field.

Green and Blue systems only.

All players must have an approved ABF systems card on the table.

QBA and KBC regulations apply.


Location - Toowong Bridge Club

Transport

Parking is available on site.

Auchenflower Train Station is within 500mtr from Toowong Bridge Club.

Milton Train Station is less than 1km from the Toowong Bridge Club

Catering

BYO LUNCH

Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided throughout the day. 

Soft and alcoholic drinks to be served at the end of the day.

Smoking is not permitted within the venue.

Please note this is a full day event. 9:15am start, lunch break, 4:30 -5:00pm finish.

Players and officials are asked not to attend any event if they are infectious, or if they are supposed to be isolating or quarantining. Those who come to play and, feeling unwell, self-diagnose that they may be infectious, should inform the director and leave the venue.
