A BRAND NEW Grand National Open Teams SBC Direct Qualifying event to be held face-to-face over a weekend on April 13-14. For competitive players who have struggled to commit multiple sessions over several weeks, this is the GOLDEN opportunity to play in GNOT!

This event qualifies one team directly to the GNOT National Phase Two Online 64-Teams Knockout Round from September 20– 22. Entry fee will be paid for by Sydney Bridge Centre.

Players qualifying directly to Phase Two are not permitted to enter any subsequent qualifying event as members of a contending team.

One seventh of the field will also qualify to the GNOT Sydney Metropolitan Final (F2F) in Sydney from September 7 – 8. Entry fee will be paid for by Sydney Bridge Centre.

Players who fail to qualify for the Metropolitan Final may form teams and enter the Metro Final directly. All members of such teams must have participated in a 2024 GNOT Qualifying event and entry must specify the club(s) at which the members played. Please contact the Metro GNOT Organiser David Wiltshire on metrognot@nswba.com.au for such an arrangement.

ENTRY FEES (2 days): $560 per team (Lunch included in both days).

You don't need to be a Sydney Bridge Centre member. However entry is restricted to residents to Metro+ areas (the Sydney Metropolitan, Central Coast, Illawarra & Blue Mountains regions).

GOLD masterpoints. 

Complementary tea, instant coffee and refreshment throughout the day. 

Format: Swiss or Round Robin (dependent on entries)

No Yellow Systems are permitted. 

Parking available at Secure Parking, corner of Elizabeth Street and Goulburn Street. Weekend special for $15 whole day.
